Privacy Policy

What we collect
- Your Google email and profile picture URL for sign-in and support.
- A stable Google identifier.
- Aggregate usage counters for text-to-speech usage.
- Per-request logs for endpoint, status, and duration.
- Article ownership records when you use page narration, so cached article audio can be deleted when no account owner remains.
How narrated content is handled
- Selected text and pasted text are sent to xAI for text-to-speech and are not stored by Sonusify after the request completes.
- Page narration may cache article text derivatives, chunk metadata, and generated audio in Sonusify infrastructure so the same article can play faster and avoid duplicate generation.
- IP addresses. Cloudflare sees them transiently; we do not store them.
Your rights
- Delete: from the extension popup, click "Delete account". There is a 14-day grace period before hard-delete. Cached article/audio data tied only to your account is deleted during hard-delete.
- Export: email support@sonusify.com and we will send you a JSON dump within 7 days.
Third parties
We send your text to xAI for text-to-speech. Their privacy policy applies to that data in transit. Cloudflare hosts our infrastructure. Sonusify is not collecting payments during beta.
Limited use
Sonusify uses information received from Google APIs only to provide sign-in, account access, support, and the extension's narration features. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
